Spinifex Brewing Co Partners with The PumpHouse Kununurra

Spinifex Brewing Co (SBCo) are delighted to announce that we have partnered with the soon to be re-opened, PumpHouse in Kununurra!

From 2008 to 2021, the PumpHouse Restaurant was a popular dining destination for locals and travellers alike. Sadly, in late 2021 the restaurant closed its doors, and it looked like it was going to be the end of an illustrious era. However, in late 2022, the HMC Group acquired the lease of the PumpHouse, adding to their portfolio of tourism businesses within the East Kimberley and will be opening the PumpHouse doors once again on Friday 10th March 2023!

SBCo are honoured to be the exclusive tap beer supplier for the PumpHouse and are delighted to be bringing quality, craft beer to such an iconic, local institution that locals and tourists alike can enjoy. This collaboration between HMC and SBCo comes in an effort from both organisations to highlight and champion local produce and products from the beautiful Kimberley region.

SBCo CEO Adam Barnard comments on the project “As an individual who has worked in the Tourism Industry for many years and as a proud Kimberley local, I am exceptionally grateful for the opportunity to partner with HMC to bring the Taste of Western Australia to The PumpHouse Kununurra. At Spinifex Brewing Co, we love working with quality, local businesses to showcaseour incredible range.

Collaboration’s such as this, are so important to our regions because consumers now place a significant emphasis on local produce when travelling. In addition, we know that the support of locals is integral to any Kimberley business and so we’re excited to be providing The Pumphouse with an Australian Made and Australian Owned alternative, craft beer selection on tap in the East Kimberley.”

SBCo have also produced a secret little side project exclusivley for The Pumphouse. Craft fans will now be able to taste the PumpHouse Sunset Ale, a crisp and refreshing 4.2% ale made for locals by locals.
