Spinifex Brewery Cable Beach Wins Gold for Best New Tourism Business at 2024 Perth Airport WA Tourism Council Awards

Spinifex Brewing Co. has proudly secured gold for “Best New Tourism Business” at the 2024 Perth Airport WA Tourism Council Awards! This award recognizes outstanding achievements and contributions to Western Australia’s tourism landscape, and for Spinifex, is the first step is recognizing the brand as a true powerhouse in the Western Australian craft beer and hospitality scene.

Founded by four friends with a passion for local botanicals and a love for Broome’s iconic landscape, Spinifex Brewery Cable Beach opened in December 2023. Since then, it has become a vibrant addition to Broome’s tourism scene, drawing locals and travelers alike. The flagship venue in Broome was made possible by a $1.98 million WA Government Investment Attraction Fund grant, supporting Spinifex’s mission to create a family-friendly, community-focused hub that showcases the best of the Kimberley.

Spinifex Brewery Cable Beach offers more than just excellent beers. It’s a cultural destination that immerses visitors in Broome’s rich history, from camel-feeding experiences with Red Sun Camels to the locally sourced botanicals infused throughout the menu and a select range of beverages.

Spinifex Brewery Cable Beach has quickly become a favorite stop for tourists and locals alike, serving over 18,600 patrons monthly and achieving top rankings on review platforms. With an award-winning customer service team and partnerships with North Regional TAFE’s training programs, the brewery is committed to creating memorable visitor experiences through staff excellence and a dynamic, inclusive atmosphere.

With this award win, Spinifex Brewing Co is excited to continue expanding its role as a community hub, a top tourist destination, and an iconic, must-visit hospitality experience. Spinifex’s journey is just beginning, with future plans to grow its offerings, this is just the first of many awards to come.
