Raise a Brew to a Mate this Mental Health Day!

World Mental Health Day on the 10th of October 2022, has a mission to create open and honest conversations around mental health and raise awareness and support for professionals working in the mental health space.

At Spinifex Brewing Company, we believe that we can help tackle the stigma that surrounds mental health isues, one beer at a time. Spinifex Brewing Co donates 50% of the profits from the sale of our F88 Lager towards Veteran’s mental health charity, Connected By who rehabilitate current serving and returned servicemen and women through creative persuits.

The F88 Lager has special significance to the team at Spinifex Brewing Co, which was created in memory of Sig Geffrey Phillip Gregg who served with 152 Signal Squadron in Afghanistan and who sadly took his life on September 23rd, 2006, as a result of his struggle with PTSD.
We recognise that looking after your mental health has become important, now more so than ever. But we also believe, that World Mental Health Day is also about supporting and expressing gratitude towards those who assist others struggling with ill mental health, not just the professionals but also family, friends and loved ones.
