As our Nambeelup Brewing Facility (which forms part of the WA Food Innovation Precinct) nears completion, we are excited to welcome our newest team member, Tess Campbell. Tess will take on the newly created position as Head Brewer and will operate and manage the much anticipated, 24HL SBCo Brewery. The 24HL Brewery in Nambeelup will produce the majority of SBCo beers, in addition to undertaking some contract brewing for a range of alternative producers.
Tess joins us with a wealth of experience in beer production and has most recently was the head brewer for 4 Pines within a venue operated by The Sporting Globe. Her role was to supply all the 4 Pines products for the venue, collaborating and working closely with multiple parties to ensure production requirements and quality standards were fulfilled while fostering and developing valuable relationships within the brewing, hospitality, finance, and marketing departments across both ventures.
Tess says:
“I was working in a very different field in life before brewing – spending most of my spare time researching brewing techniques and ingredients. I decided to take a risk and live my daydream; I have never looked back.
I began my brewing journey on a packaging line, where I have been fortunate enough to be trained and supported by some of the best. I have spent the last few years working within a production brewing team and more recently as a Head Brewer where I have had the opportunity to design and produce my own creations.
I couldn’t be more excited to be joining the SBCo Team and to be making the move over to beautiful WA. I love good beer, but I really love good people; After meeting the Spinifex Team and experiencing the delicious products they’re producing, I can not wait to see what the future holds and be a part of a team doing good things with great beer.”
The entire SBCo team are excited to welcome Tess as she takes on her new role in mid-February.
