Spinifex Brewing Co × Para Hills Community Club

At Spinifex Brewing Co, we’ve always believed the best beer moments happen when good people, great venues and a bit of local flavour collide. That’s why we’re proud to be teaming up with Para Hills Community Club for a four-week celebration of community, craft beer and one very South Australian tradition: the Butcher.

Introducing: Friday Butchers
For the next four Fridays, Para Hills Community Club becomes the home of Friday Butchers — a relaxed, community-minded tasting hour designed to kick-start your Friday night the right way.
From 4:00–5:00 pm, the first 50 legends (18+) through the bar each Friday score a free 200 ml Butcher of Spinifex Hazy Pale Ale. No strings, no swaps, no funny business — just a proper pour of juicy, hazy goodness to ease you into the evening.

Why a Butcher?
If you’re South Australian, you already know. A Butcher is a classic SA beer size, 200 ml, steeped in pub folklore and local drinking culture. It’s the perfect way to try something new without overthinking it. A taste, not a test. A nod to tradition, with a modern Spinifex twist.

What’s in the Glass
Our Spinifex Hazy Pale Ale (5.0% ABV) is everything you want at the end of a working week:
• Juicy and delicious
• Bursting with tropical hop aroma
• Smooth, balanced malt backbone
• Easy-drinking and dangerously sessionable
It’s the kind of beer that starts as a Butcher… and somehow ends up as a pint after 5 pm.

Hosted by One of Our Own
Each Friday, Spinifex SA rep Brett Harvey will be on site pouring, chatting and flying the Spinifex flag from 3:30–5:30 pm. Got questions about the beer? Want the story behind the haze? Brett’s your bloke. More Than a Giveaway. This partnership is about more than free beer (though we’re not pretending that’s a bad thing). Para Hills Community Club is our South Australian launch partner, and Friday Butchers is all about:
• Supporting a strong local club
• Creating an easy, compliant way to try something new
• Turning a quick tasting into a great Friday night
• Building something regulars can look forward to, week after week

And yes — there may be Hazy Pale pints on special after the tasting hour to keep the good times rolling. Keep an eye on the bar.

The Fine Print (Because RSA Matters)- One Butcher per person, 18+ only, while stocks last. No takeaway, no substitutions, and service is always at the discretion of staff. Drink it, enjoy it, respect it.
