Delicious Ginger Beer Scones for a Festive Treat
With Christmas just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to indulge in a festive twist on a classic recipe. Our very own John Gibbs, Brand Ambassador, shares a delightful scone recipe using Dunes Ginger Beer, making these scones light, fluffy, and perfect for your holiday table.
Ingredients and Method
To create these scrumptious scones, you’ll need:
- 4.5 cups of self-raising flour
- 300ml of cream
- 1 can of Dunes Ginger Beer
Simply mix the flour, cream, and ginger beer gently. Roll out the dough and cut into 5–6cm scones. Bake them at 190°C for 15–20 minutes until they turn a light golden color.
Serving Suggestions
Enjoy your scones warm, topped with whipped cream and your favourite jam. Whether it’s strawberry, fig, or lemon myrtle, the choice is yours! Pair them with a cup of tea or another can of Dunes Ginger Beer for a perfect festive treat.
