Spinifex Brewing Co engages Chef Tony Howell to Collaborate on a Culinary Journey

Spinifex Brewing Co is set to treat guests at the famous Shinju Matsuri Long Table Dinner to a culinary feast like no other. Spinifex venue “Zookeepers” will be working in collaboration with Chef Tony Howell to deliver a mouth-watering dining experience, curated by official Shinju Chef, Chef Khan.

In addition, Spinifex has engaged the talented Chef Tony Howell, known for his innovative culinary creations and devotion to showcasing local produce, to not only assist in delivering the Long Table Dinner but also consult on the curation of the menu for the brewery’s newest venture, the eagerly anticipated Cable Beach Alehouse and Microbrewery.

The Shinju Matsuri Festival, an annual celebration of Broome’s rich cultural heritage and pearl diving history, attracts thousands of visitors from around the globe. The Long Table Dinner, held under the enchanting Kimberley sky on the renowned Cable Beach, is a highlight of the festival, combining exceptional gastronomy with breathtaking surroundings. For this year’s edition, Spinifex Brewing Co has enlisted the expertise of Chef Tony Howell to elevate the dining experience to unprecedented heights.

The Long Table Dinner menu is being kept under wraps, but guests can be sure to expect a fusion of modern Australian cuisine with Asian influences, a nod to the multicultural heritage of the Broome.

On delivering the Shinju Matsuri Long Dinner, Chef Tony says

“ I am so excited for the Shinju Long Table Dinner and feel very honoured to be part of this spectacular event, one which I have secretly wanted to be part of for years.

Working with Chef Kahn, the Spinifex crew and event organisers has been a wonderful process and this will be demonstrated on the night. Chef Kahn’s Asian-inspired menu will be a crowd-pleaser with bursting flavours. To be honest I would love to be a guest at the table, the food and beverages on offer will be awesome!”

Similarly, as the Cable Beach Alehouse and Microbrewery near competition, Chef Tony and the Zookeepers hospitality team are working hard to curate a menu that showcases the artistry of craft brewing and the culinary world. Spinifex hopes that the Cable Beach Brewery will become Broome’s premier destination for both locals and tourists seeking a taste of the Kimberley’s finest offerings.
